The University of León is a relatively young institution that was founded in 1979. However, it has already achieved significant prestige as an academic institution in Spain. The university is based on two campuses in the cities of León and Ponferrada in northern Spain, and hosts more than 16,000 students. The former Prime Minister of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, was a lecturer at the university in the 1980s, before beginning his political career.

Since its founding, the university has focused on internationalization, going beyond regional borders to attract students and academic staff from other parts of Spain, Europe and beyond. Over the last few years, the university has welcomed students from more than 40 different countries. Furthermore, local students can complete part of their study programs in one of the 300 partner universities all around the world, mainly in Europe and the United States but also in Australasia.

The university offers 38 first degrees and more than 30 postgraduate qualifications. These range from traditional degrees in English and Spanish to more technical courses such as the master’s in aerospace or renewable energies. The university also offers a wide range of degree courses that are based in the area of earth sciences, such as veterinary science, biology and agricultural studies.



The School of Management and Economics (hereinafter “School”) is instituted in accordance with the Statute of the University of Turin, pursuant to article 24 et seq.

The School is composed of two departments:

  • The Department of Management;
  • The Department of Economic and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics (hereinafter “ESOMAS”).

The School organizes all the activities and services of the two Departments. It deals with the standard services for students, such as agreements with external and private companies regarding didactic activities pertaining to its Degree Courses.

The School coordinates services such as Orientation, Tutoring, Students’ Mobility, and Job Placement for the enrolled students. The Services Center was created by the Department of Management and the Department of ESOMAS using the technical-administrative personnel of both Departments.

The headquarters of the School are located in Corso Unione Sovietica. The main activities of the Departments and of the School are carried out there. It's housed in a historical building, in Turin which was previously a home for the Elderly. The building dates back to the second half of the 19th century, between 1881-1887 and was designed by Crescentino Caselli. The particular comb shape and the unusual use of space mean that there was the potential to accommodate all the institutional activities into this unique building.

The didactic activities related to the courses belonging to the School are carried out in three locations:

  • in Turin - Corso Unione Sovietica 218/bis which is the headquarters and where almost all the Degree Courses are held;
  • in Cuneo - Via Ferraris di Celle, 2 - where there are the didactic activities related to the Business Management courses – First Cycle Degree in Business Administration.
  • In Turin at SAA School of Management – Via Ventimiglia, 115 – where there are the didactic activities related to the Mnagement dell’Informazione e della Comunicazione Aziendale degree courses.



VAMK (Vaasa University of Applied Sciences) is a modern and international University of Applied Sciences which provides high level theoretical and practical oriented education in Finnish and in English, both at Bachelor level in full-time and part-time education as well as professional Master´s degree level.

The main areas of focus are high technology, international business, and health care and social services. VAMK takes a special interest in combining the traditional entrepreneurial spirit of the region with international awareness, languages and culture in the education. There is a strong emphasis on internationalization and the instructors maintain high educational standard.

VAMK has an extensive co-operation network with universities and other educational and research institutions abroad, as well as in Finland. The personnel, programmes and services team up to provide an extensive range of learning alternatives, offering an unbeatable combination of quality education in the modern and student-friendly city of Vaasa.

Currently, VAMK has 3,300 students enrolled and a full-time staff of over 230 members, as well as 50 part-time or visiting teachers and professors. VAMK has two campuses, one in Palosaari – the sea side campus, and one on Raastuvankatu right in the heart of the city centre. Both campuses are easily reached and only 1,5 kilometres from each other.



The University of Siena (Italian: Università degli Studi di Siena, abbreviation: UNISI) in Siena, Tuscany is one of the oldest and first publicly funded universities in Italy. The University of Siena awards first cycle, second cycle and single long cycle degrees in the following faculties: Economics, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Arts and Humanities, Arts and Humanities in Arezzo, Medicine and Surgery, Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences and Political Science, as well as several interfaculty degrees.

The teaching activities of the University of Siena’s first and second level courses are generally carried out in one of the nine faculties.

Postgraduate education at the University of Siena is carried out in postgraduate schools, master’s programmes, training, advanced training and refresher courses and summer schools, while postgraduate research is performed in the doctoral schools.

Graduate School of Economics and Management (GSEM) is the largest institute of Ural Federal University. It combines fundamental education and practical application of gained knowledge.

GSEM is an acclaimed centre for training of specialists in economics and management that operates for the benefit of socio-economic development of the Ural Federal District and biggest employers in postindustrial sectors of national economy.

Today Graduate School of Economics and Management comprises 7 departments, more than 4000 students, 50 PhD candidates and 6000 lecturers, among them 288 PhD and 83 doctorate holders.

One of the main principles of the school is adherence to the highest international standards in education and research. It is a tradition to hold presentations, training courses and master classes for the School’s students conducted by leading Russian and international companies – prospective employers for our graduates. Graduate School of Economics and Management works in close cooperation with business partners and government authorities. It is aimed at providing in-depth academic knowledge and good practical skills.

National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» ? Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (Ukraine)

National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» - Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (Ukraine)

Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (IEE) within the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» (NTUU «KPI») was established in 1997 as a basic energy management training institution in the country. Now IEE is a leading educational, training, R&D and consulting institution in the field of sustainable energy development, energy efficiency and energy management in Ukraine.

The main tasks of IEE include: creation and promotion of «energy awareness» in various aspects of human life and production activity (1); training, professional skills improvement and retraining for specialists in the field of energy management (2); development, continuous improvement and dissemination of methodology and information materials in schools, universities, industrial enterprises and organisations in other sectors of economy (3); R&D and design activities relating to the sustainable energy development, efficient use of energy, environmental and energy management system, climate change problem (4).

The Ukrainian Ministry of Education has issued a license to the IEE, approving educational work in the following fields: energy management, energy auditing, monitoring and targeting of energy use, information technology in energy use, energy inspection.

The IEE is situated within building 22 of NTUU «KPI». It is equipped with modern training and demonstration equipment, working examples of energy efficient equipment and its staff have extensive practical experience in the use of this equipment. Throughout its existence, the IEE has trained more than 10,000 engineers and masters. Currently IEE has 1,200 students and 110 members of full-time staff.



The establishment of Vilnius University International Business School (IBS at VU) in 1989 may be directly linked with historical developments. The country needed a higher education school for training modern specialists able to navigate in the modern business world and have in-depth economic knowledge. IBS at VU has become this school. Now, after more than 25 years, IBS at VU has accumulated extensive experience and is moving ahead while training talented, innovative business professionals geared to consistent achievement.

The development of internationalization is one of the key strategic objectives of VU IBS. An institution educating future entrepreneurs who will work in an open global business environment should strive to increase its visibility and expand the number of its foreign partners. International mobility is organized at VU IBS through Erasmus+ programme opportunities and the development of bilateral cooperation and partnerships with foreign institutions. Since 2014, VU IBS has had Diploma Supplement Label showing the transparency and flexibility of the VU IBS higher education system. Students actively participate in Erasmus+ exchange programmes, choosing to study at Erasmus partner institutions for a semester or a year. VU IBS has signed over 60 Erasmus programme contracts, over 20 cooperation agreements and five joint—degree agreements.

National Academy for Public Administration

National Academy for Public (Ukraine)

National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, created in 1995, is the main higher educational establishment in the system of training, in-service training and advance training of civil servants and local self-government officials in Ukraine.

The mission of the National Academy is viewed as:

  • the formation of modern administrative elite of Ukraine;
  • the development of professional competence of civil servants and local self-government officials;
  • the scientific support of state administrative reforms.

Educational and research potential of the National Academy is represented by 664 scientific, educational and research employees, including 187 Doctors of Sciences, Professors and 437 Candidates of Sciences, Assistant Professors. More than 170 Ukrainian and international professionals in the sphere of public administration, experienced executives, including state administrative officials of high rank, are taking part in the teaching process each year.

Since 1995, close to 21 thousand students have undergone Master-degree training in the National Academy, more than 14 thousand of those - by government contract, more than 7 thousand Bachelor-degree and Specialist-degree students. The National Academy has secured international internships for more than 2,5 thousand graduate and postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, educators and academics of the institution.



To find a solution to the problem of unemployment by educating the qualified manpower – needed by the private and public institutions in Turkey and prospectively by the EU and the world who has the ability to put into practice the knowledge they have gained. Also, with this aim in mind, to cultivate people who have been equipped with knowledge of computers and information technology, who can quickly adapt to new developments, who can use scientific methods and who can make a personal difference in their work environment with their strong personality and their skills.


To become a higher education institution that implements educational programmes which always incorporate new developments and which can train personnel who have the knowledge and technology necessitated by the age, can use technology at the highest level and turn knowledge into production and can speak foreign languages, an institution that is exemplary in its field and innovative. To become one of the leading educational institutions that graduates individuals who remain loyal to the indivisible unity of the country and the nation, possess the values of the Republic, have secular and democratic opinions and who have fully grasped the principles and revolutions of Atatürk.

Hitit University


Hitit University takes its name from Hittite Civilization, which has a history of thousands of years in Anatolia. Our university aims to develop a scrutinizing, participative, sharing, unique and modern education culture which produces universal information, technology and trains individuals who are competent and have respect to social values and environment.

In this sense, our university aims to foster creative learning in problem solving in order to train individuals who have leadership spirit and take humanistic values into consideration so that they can contribute to the social development. This is to be done not only by producing original ideas but also learning and sharing together. Thus, Hitit University focuses on bilateral agreements, multilateral projects and subjects.

Until 2006, the university was affiliated to Gazi University. However, with the decision of the Council of Ministers and the Higher Education Institution, a new university was established under the name of Hitit University and existing educational units were affiliated to this newly founded university in 2006.

Now, Hitit University continues education with its 2 graduate schools, 7 faculties, 2 schools and 5 vocational schools. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Divinity, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture are the seven faculties of the university. The university also includes Çorum Health School, Çorum School of Physical Education and Sports, Corum Vocational School, Alaca Vocational School, Iskilip Vocational School, Sungurlu Vocational School and Osmanc?k Ömer Derindere Vocational School. Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Science and Technology were opened in 2008 and started accepting students in the spring term of the same year.

With its experienced staff, existing physical facilities and excitement of being a newly established university, Hitit University continues its activities with enthusiasm. Aiming to keep continual growth and development, our university plans to introduce new research institutions and departments.



Since its founding, BILGI has attempted to establish a cultural and scientific community that promotes tolerance and respect for a diversity of individuals with different lifestyles, beliefs and ways of thinking within the framework of contemporary universal values, while at the same time maintaining strong ties with all segments of the society. BILGI community includes more than students; it also includes faculty, alumni, families, employers and neighboring communities where BILGI is located.

Rongo University College


Rongo University College is a public institution which was established by Excellency President Mwai Kibaki, Commander in Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces through Legal Notice NO.70, Kenya Gazette Supplement NO.51, on 17th June 2011. The University Campus is located on Kitere Hill, 8 kilometers from Rongo Town, and 2.5 kilometers off Kisii – Migori Highway. It is situated on the precincts of the former Moi Institute of Technology, (MIT), which began in 1981 as a technical training college for Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes. The Degree and Diploma programmes that are on offer are strongly anchored on practical orientation through more contact hours of class work, field work and industrial attachment which is expected to give the students a more holistic understanding of the environment in which they operate. In so doing, Rongo University College aims at producing students that are capable of self-employment and job creation rather than relying on formal employment only. In addition, they will fit well in the job market and environment as graduates who are responsive to societal needs. This is in line with the Kenya Vision 2030 which emphasizes job creation and industrial growth through exploitation of national skills and human resources.
