We want to get to know you! Therefore, we designed an application procedure that shows whether the chosen study programme matches you interests and abilities. We don’t just look at your grades, we look at you as a person, with all your talents and your motivation to study a degree in management.
1. Study Advisory
Have a look at our bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. Our study advisors are happy to support you in finding the right programme for you. If you don’t reside in Germany, they can schedule a video call with you, to make sure you have all the information you need.
When have found the right programme, you can sign in for the application process.
Please send the following documents via email (email@example.com) directly after submitting your online application:
If you are applying for master’s programme:
Scans are fine for the application process. But please be informed that we need a notarised hardcopy of all certificates until the enrolment.
3. Checking your entrance requirements
After we received your application documents, the study advisory checks whether you meet all formal entrance requirements. Please allow at least two weeks for this process if you are applying from a non-EU country. If you meet all requirements, we will get in touch with you to arrange your application interview.
4. Application Interview
With this appointment, we want to find out more about you and your professional development as well as your motivation to study at HdWM. You will have the interview with the chair of the respective programme or a professor of it.
5. Study Contract
After successfully passing the interview, you receive the study contract. Please returned a signed scan within 14 days. The signed hard copy must be handed in with your enrolment at the latest.
The enrolment is the last step before starting your studies at HdWM. The colleagues from the study office will get in touch with you to inform you about the procedure.
7. Preparatory courses
To ensure a smooth beginning of your studies at HdWM, we offer several preparatory courses. For international students, the International Office organises a Welcome Week to meet your fellow students and to get settled in Germany. Also, there are German classes for those who want to learn German, which is important to get along in or work in Germany.
8. Beginning of studies
The semester at HdWM always starts on April 1st in the summer semester and on October 1st in the winter semester. One day before the beginning of the new semester, HdWM holds a Welcome Day for all first semesters.
