Welcome to the Shared Value Lab Africa

  • We are facing unprecedented complex situations e.g. migration, implications of the climate crisis etc. all of which call for the best ways of mastering them.  For the best possible response to these challenges the synergy of talents, resources, innovation, digitalization and the passion and commitment to facing them must go hand in hand.
  • Our Lab focuses on Africa because in Africa it is not business as usual. Africa needs partnerships based on Trust, Respect and Transparency. I have learned that Africa cares about their people, the planet and peace. Sharing the values of all the members of this Lab will create employability and entrepreneurship for African citizens, as well as profitability to those who wish to invest there. Co-creating knowledge adjusted to an African environment, together with education in sustainability, will support their sustainability goals contributing to a more just, inclusive and eventually, peaceful world.
  • Our Lab is a symbiosis between society, economy and educational cooperation. The African saying ‘If you want to go fast….go alone; if you want to go far….go together' sums up our Lab. Regardless if you are a company wishing to invest in Africa, an African company wishing to invest in Europe, a university, a vocational educational institution or a young person who wishes to change his/her future, please come and join us in this dynamic adventure. We all have something to offer and something to gain: this is what I call a reciprocal win-win situation.
