The University of Applied Management Studies in Mannheim, Germany, is looking for:   

an external lecturer for the "Management in International Business" course (m/f/d)

The University of Applied Management Studies, is an internationally recognized educational institution accredited by the Science Council. In a unique business model, we offer bachelor’s and master's degrees in international business, management and psychology. 

A quality feature of the University of Applied Management Studies is the international diversity of the students from 28 countries with English-language bachelor's and master's degrees and ties to industry.  

For these courses, as well as for participation in international projects we're looking for an external lecturer to start at 01.10.2023 – please state your availability. 

Courses: 

We are looking for a part-time lecturer to teach in the Management in International Business Bachelor course. Depending on your interest and qualifications, you will be asked to teach 1-2 courses from the following: Business Computer Applications, Business Processes, Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, and International Sales. 

Many of our lecturers are directly involved with business teaching and research. As a young university, we are looking for dynamic, creative and team-oriented candidates who enjoy teaching at a high level and who are committed to working with us to continue to develop the University of Applied Management Studies.

Requirements: 

• Relevant studies in international business administration and or international economics (or similar fields), preferably Ph.D. 
• At least 5 years professional work experience, including management level activities 
• Teaching and research experiences in international contexts  
• Management-related teaching experience 
• Excellent command of English and the ability to teach effectively in English
