Mannheim, September 2026 – The Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management (HdWM) has entered into a new strategic cooperation agreement with the Deutsch-Türkisches Institut für Arbeit und Bildung (DTI) and Jobnet.AG – marking an important step towards bridging academic excellence, labour market expertise and digital innovation. The agreement, signed in September 2026, brings together three organisations with complementary strengths: HdWM contributes academic expertise, teaching and research; DTI brings labour market, transfer and integration knowledge; and Jobnet.AG adds technological platforms, data-driven applications and AI-supported labour market solutions.

A Partnership Built on Complementary Strengths The cooperation is designed to harness the synergies between all three partners to develop new educational, qualification and transfer formats – connecting science and practice more closely, and jointly responding to the rapidly changing demands of the modern labour market. Jobnet.AG operates one of Germany's most extensive digital employment and talent networks, with approximately 2,200 platforms across Germany, Austria and several international markets. Its reach spans international talent acquisition, vocational education, language training and career placement – making it a strong partner for advancing HdWM's international visibility and student recruitment.

First Project: Employment Manager Certificate Programme A first concrete outcome of this cooperation is already taking shape. The three partners will collaborate on the further development of the modular certificate programme Employment Manager/in – a qualification format aimed at professionals navigating the intersection of HR, integration and digital transformation. The specific framework for this programme will be defined in a separate agreement.

Looking Ahead The signing was attended by Prof. Dr. Dolores Sanchez Bengoa (Interim President of HdWM), Prof. Dr. Franz Egle (Managing Board Member, DTI), Jennifer Muvai (Board Member, Jobnet.AG) and Prof. Dr. Esther Stroe-Kunold (Head of Faculty Social Work, HdWM). "We are very much looking forward to developing this cooperation further, bringing our complementary strengths together, and turning this shared framework into innovative projects with real impact," said Prof. Dr. Dolores Sanchez Bengoa from HdWM. The partnership opens new pathways for students and professionals alike – from international recruitment and German language preparation to career placement and integration into the German labour market after graduation.
