At HdWM, you can choose your desired degree program from a variety of bachelor's and master's degree programs with various specialization options. You will benefit from the high level of practical relevance and personal support from the teaching staff. Even if things don't always go smoothly during your studies, we are there for you.

Career
As a student in any bachelor's or master's degree program, you can benefit from an optional career development program: Career Consulting at HdWM.
If you want to prepare yourself optimally for your career start alongside your studies, you have the opportunity to go through three phases: orientation phase, application phase, and onboarding. In all phases, you will be supported by the Career Consulting Team at HdWM.
Our career consulting services are rounded off by our career dialogues. Successful HdWM graduates and exciting company representatives give you concrete insights into areas such as human resources and provide tips for successful career planning.
Find your future employer while you are still studying. The Career Network @ HdWM will help you do just that. Get to know different companies at trade fairs, during your working student job, internships, or as part of project work and theses.
Flexible Studies
Is full-time study not feasible for you at the moment? We have the right solution for you — whether you are working, caring for your family, or need some space for health reasons but still want to start studying. If you cannot, for whatever reason study in full-time, let us know and we can arrange a study plan for you that fits your particular needs.
Services
Always helps when you need special resources for your studies. Students with various impairments and disabilities (physical disabilities, mental and cognitive illnesses, special circumstances that can make studying difficult) receive individual counseling, support, and a wide range of assistance at HdWM so that you can successfully complete your studies. We guarantee absolute confidentiality.
Are you unsure how to find the right literature for your seminar papers or theses? We won't leave you on your own here either.
With the Teaching Library, we have created a comprehensive range of events for you that will improve your information and media literacy during your studies. In addition to classic library tours, we offer introductions to literature research, the correct use of databases, and exercises in academic writing. The aim is to teach you the skills you need to find, evaluate, and process information.
Studying without frustration. A free service for students who want to reorganize their daily study routine, structure their learning better, and (re)discover the joy of studying.
As a doctor of educational psychology, relaxation teacher, and group leader, the learning advisor accompanies you on your personal learning journey throughout the semester and during the exam phase(s). In addition to the central workshops, individual consultation hours are also available.
The learning community. Learning communities are key to successful and motivating learning during your studies. That is why the various workshops are held in a fixed learning group, formed at the beginning of the semester. Self-organized meetings within your learning community also take place as a bridge between the central workshops.
