Who we are

A private business school with a practical soul.

HdWM, the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, was founded by regional companies who wanted graduates ready to work, not just ready to graduate. That founding idea still runs through everything: management is learned by doing it, inside the companies that practise it.

Today we are a compact, international university in Mannheim, one of Germany's most dynamic economic regions, offering the full management toolkit through both English-taught and German-taught programmes.

“We don't teach management in theory. Our students practise it with the Leaders who run real companies.”
