The HdWM builds a network with schools and companies to support students before and during their studies.
Cooperations
The University of Applied Management Studies (HdWM) has set itself the goal of growing and networking with schools and companies in order to support and accompany prospective students and students before and during their studies at the HdWM. We would like to support our students and show them opportunities to gain work experience in the context of student jobs and thus finance their studies. Due to the high practical relevance from the beginning, the later career entry is also facilitated. Below you will find a list of our existing cooperation partners. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Cooperation
There are many part-time jobs for students. But how about financing your studies as a student driver?
That is now possible. Thanks to a new cooperation with Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv), it is possible to complete the training for this responsible and exciting job in just eight weeks during the semester break. During the semester, the assignment takes place as a streetcar driver*.
Here are the basic data:
The next course of training for student streetcar drivers* already starts at the end of July 2023. All enrolled students* of the HdWM can apply, and applicants* can also contact the rnv for this interesting working student job parallel to the HdWM admission procedure.
Even beyond rail transport, there are opportunities as a working student to apply and further develop the theoretical knowledge learned during your studies in practice. There are countless opportunities to gain practical experience and thus secure your entry into an innovative and sustainable industry.
What else is there to wait for? For more information, please contact HdWM at marketing@hdwm.org or visit the rnv application page.

Cooperation
A new cooperation between the HdWM and the Wieslocher Institut für systemische Lösungen (WISL).
Because our Master Wirtschaftspsychologie takes place full-time for all students on 2.5 days a week, there is an ideal opportunity to complete a certified further training in systemic consulting alongside it, on a further 2.5 days every two months. How does that sound?
Through a new cooperation from autumn 2025, the HdWM in Mannheim and the WISL in Wiesloch make it possible to combine study and training. This way, after just two years (basic and advanced course) you receive a double qualification that significantly increases your chances of getting hired. Many companies expect applicants to hold an additional qualification, especially for highly qualified positions. Systemic consulting is held in high regard in the HR field and in management consulting.
If you were perhaps not yet sure where your path within psychology should lead, then we have the solution for you. The additional qualification as a systemic consultant lets you follow two tracks: your Master of Science Wirtschaftspsychologie prepares you in a practical way for careers in HR, marketing or organisational consulting, for example. The additional qualification not only gives you a clear advantage in these areas, but also opens doors in the social sector — for example at psychological counselling centres, in rehabilitation or reintegration management. It is also a helpful step on the way to running your own practice as a consultant or coach. The 'Systemische Beratung' further training at the WISL is of course recognised and can, with little additional effort, also be certified by the Systemische Gesellschaft (SG) umbrella association.
If this appeals to you, get in touch now and arrange an individual consultation appointment with us. The master's programme at the HdWM always starts in October, and you can then begin the further training at the WISL from December 2025. Because the master at the HdWM takes place on no more than 2.5 days a week, and the further training only every two months on 2.5 days, you still have time on top of that to work, earn money and gain valuable professional experience.
This training is also highly recommended for students of the Bachelor Soziale Arbeit!
Places for the additional training at the WISL are already reserved for HdWM students. Find out more now and secure one of them.
For those of you who decide on a therapeutically oriented career, there is the option, after completing the training as a systemic consultant, of also completing the training as a systemic therapist at the WISL (approx. 1.5 years). Certification by the Systemische Gesellschaft (SG) umbrella association can be sought for this as well.
You can also find more information on the institute's website.
