Lecturer
Claudia Conrad von Heydendorff is a Lecturer in Social Work with extensive experience in professional social work and higher education. She studied Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim and completed training as a Systemic Counselor alongside her studies. She subsequently worked in counseling at Diakonisches Werk Rhein-Neckar, focusing on women and children in crisis situations. She has been working as a freelance lecturer since 2017 and joined HdWM as a lecturer in 2025.
Her teaching focuses on social policy, social psychology, and theories and methods of social work. She combines practical experience in counseling with academic perspectives and places particular emphasis on practice-oriented learning and the transfer of knowledge into professional settings.
