Doris Lindhorst

Doris Lindhorst is a Lecturer in Social Work with extensive experience in child and youth services as well as leadership in public social services. She holds a Diploma in Social Work and is a certified Systemic Therapist (IGST) and Supervisor. During her 33-year career at the Mannheim Youth Welfare Office, she spent 15 years in leadership positions, gaining comprehensive practical experience in child protection and youth welfare.

At HdWM, she teaches child and youth services, social work methods, systemic counseling, and communication skills. Her teaching emphasizes practical application and prepares students to confidently address the challenges of professional social work.
