Lecturer Global Management
Prof. Dr. Johannes Beverungen is Professor of International Business and Management with extensive experience in academia and industry. After studying in Freiburg, Toronto, and Chicago, he earned his doctorate at the University of Freiburg. He began his career at Sony Corporation before serving for many years at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) as Program Director, Dean, and President. Since 2013, he has been a Research Professor at DHBW and has also held visiting professorships at the University of Freiburg and the University of California, Santa Barbara.
His research and teaching focus on international trade, international marketing, and global economics and management. At HdWM, he equips students with a strong understanding of international business and the dynamics of the global economy.
