This is a quiet house built in 1974, conveniently located on the outskirts of Mannheim Friedrichsfeld and Neu-Edingen. There is a 600 sqm green area around the house and by bike it is only a few minutes to the OEG stop and the Neckarwiese. The 95 sqm apartment was completely renovated in the fall of 2018. The rooms are tasteful, new and fully furnished. Pillows and bed linen are provided by the landlord. If there is a change of user, the room will be thoroughly cleaned.
Students of the HdWM can move into the 16 sqm room in the 4-person shared apartment for a rent of 460,- (including utilities). There is a deposit of 450 euros.
Two available rooms are located in the house in Franz-Sigel-Street, in the immediate vicinity of the university. The two flats each have three shared rooms. The rooms are between 19 and 22 square metres in size. They are fully furnished. Towels and bed linen are provided. The kitchens in both flats are of a comparable standard. Both are equipped with a dishwasher, fridge and a large table that can seat up to ten people. Crockery, pots, plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster etc. are available in both kitchens. There is a washing machine and a large balcony in each flat. The residents of both flats can use the garden of the house. A cleaner comes every fortnight to clean the generally accessible rooms (kitchen, hallway and bathroom) in both flats.
The costs for the cleaner are included in the rent. This also applies to the costs for the Internet and the licence fee centre. The warm rent for the 19 square metre room is € 695 and € 725 for the 22 square metre room. There is no utility bill, so students will not be bothered with past bills after they move out. There is an international atmosphere in both shared flats, as the rooms have mainly been let to exchange students to date.
