You have successfully completed your bachelor’s degree and you are heading for a career in international management? Then studying business management in our master’s degree programme is the key to higher positions in many organisations and should be the next step in your international management education. As a university aligned to the management needs of the economy, we designed our English track master’s programme for those looking for management roles in internationally operating companies. Bachelor’s graduates have the chance to study business master as a full-time degree programme with a high degree of practical orientation, and only 2 days of lectures per week.
To be able to study business management in our master’s degree programme at HdWM, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree that contains the equivalent of at least 180 ECTS or ideally 210 ECTS credit points. Moreover, students must have sufficient language skills in English (B2 language level) and pass a personal admissions interview.
Preparing our student for the working world, is one of our highest aims. Therefore, the business management master’s degrees at HdWM contain an 8-week internship that you can spend in a company or as a research project, in which you conduct management-related research at HdWM – an ideal preparation for your master’s thesis.
All lecturers have extensive business experience that they readily share with you and your fellow students. Company visits, guest lectures by company representatives, and real-life business cases enrich the lectures and give valuable insight into business life.
Furthermore, you can top off your working experience during your studies. Studying business management only takes place on 2 days per week, which gives you ample opportunities to work as a working student during the semester and in the semester breaks.

The English track master’s degree in Business Management is 100% in English, giving you the necessary skills to communicate easily in the most common language of the management world. All modules are adjusted to management in an international setting, preparing you for a managing position in any globally operating business. Furthermore, it is possible to enrol in a semester abroad. Together with your fellow students from all over the world, you will be taught by lecturers with extensive international experience.

Tuition fees
As a private university, HdWM is funded mainly by tuition fees and the contributions of the partner companies. HdWM is a non-profit organisation, therefore all revenues are used for the development of our university and the constant enhancement of the teaching quality as well as the student services.
The tuition fees to study business management in English are 690. Non-EU students will be required to set up a German bank account and hand in a signed SEPA direct debit mandate for the monthly payment of the tuition fees. You will receive all necessary documents with your study contract.
Other fees
There is a one-time enrolment fee of 690 Euros that you pay if you are accepted and choose to join the programme. You also have to pay a so-called Solidarity Contribution of 22.80 Euros per semester.

Financing
There are several ways how to fund your studies at HdWM. Germans can apply for BAföG and the KfW student loan. Under certain circumstances, these options are also available to non-Germans (please check their websites for further details). HdWM also offers several merit-based scholarship programmes, for which all nationalities can apply.
